Your address is yours to change, up to three times a month, so the links people saved keep working. It won't take a name someone already lives at. Your old one keeps pointing here and stays parked, so nobody else can grab it — the new one starts working once the town points it there.
Your handle never changes — the stamps in other people's passports, your flags and your feed are all keyed on it. Only the address moves, and you never touch DNS: you pick the name, we repoint it.
The square reads your slug.json once a day. What it's allowed to take is up to the publish switches in your site.json, and they all start off.
You don't need a stamp to do anything. Until you carve one, people who visit still get an impression in their passport with your handle on it, and it still counts toward a full book.

This is how the editor on your own site proves the house is yours, so Save works instead of Export. Paste it into the editor once and it stays in that browser.
You only need this if you haven't got a repo. Making a new key turns the old one off everywhere.
Taking a copy of everything, archiving the house, or deleting it aren't buttons yet. Write to us from the address you sign in with and a person does it by hand, within a week.
Archiving keeps the house standing and marked, with nothing more changed. Deleting has seven days in which it can be undone.
Nothing on this page reviews your design, rates your site, or shows you anyone else's numbers. It's a control panel, not a feed.
